Congratulations to our Director of Investment Banking, Christie Lange, for five years with Big Path Capital. At Big Path, relationships are of the utmost importance to us, and Christie exemplifies this wholeheartedly. Her calming presence, especially during the stress of due diligence and critical decision-making, helps clients feel supported through their transition.

“Christie puts the interest of our clients first and foremost,” said Big Path Founder & CEO Michael Whelchel. “This creates a basis of trust which allows her and Big Path to be better advisors and to help advance our clients’ impact.”

When she joined the Big Path team in 2018, Christie had over eight years of experience in financial services, having worked on a consumer investment banking team in San Francisco and for Lehman Brothers in New York City.

To celebrate five years of hard work and as part of our Ripples of Impact initiative, Big Path made a $5,000 donation to the charity of Christie’s choice, SHE-CAN. The non-profit builds global female leadership by equipping and empowering talented low-opportunity women from post-conflict and climate-challenged countries with education, mentorship, and leadership skills needed to change their nations and the world.

“Big Path has given me the opportunity to be in service of clients doing good for people and planet. Not only that, but my entire team has supported me in climbing figurative and literal mountains, both professionally and personally,” said Christie. “I am grateful to be part of a team not only committed to changing how capitalism is done for the better but also who deeply cares about each other.”

Christie was encouraged to become involved with SHE-CAN by a Big Path client. Together, they traveled to Guatemala to interview applicants for SHE-CAN’s scholar program, which provides young women with full-ride scholarships to colleges and universities in the U.S. “My trip to Guatemala with SHE-CAN was incredibly inspiring and fulfilling,” said Christie. “I am humbled to be a part of this wonderful organization.”

We are grateful for Christie’s dedication to such an outstanding organization and thrilled to support their cause.
