Alastair Dorward

Alastair was Method's founding CEO in 2000 alongside Co-Founders Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry, growing the brand from pre-revenue to over $100 million in eight years and earning recognition on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies along the way. He left Method in 2008, and spent the following years in a series of executive and marketing leadership roles across food, personal care, and home categories, including CEO and President positions at brands like Yummy Spoonfuls and Smitten Ice Cream, and Chief Brand Officer at Amyris. Alastair also served as CEO of DROPPS.

Across more than two decades of building mission-driven consumer brands, he's developed a reputation for pairing bold growth ambitions with disciplined, capital-efficient execution. Alastair has been an active member of YPO Forum for over 14 years and is trained as a moderator for YPO CEO peer groups — experience he brings directly to guiding MO CEO Circles. He's especially passionate about helping fellow CEOs build companies where purpose and performance aren't in tension, but reinforce each other.
