On March 1, Big Path Capital welcomed Adrianne Gordon as Chief Operating Officer. The newly added role allows Big Path to expand its leadership team and add capacity to support culture, processes, and marketing.

Adrianne brings over 15 years of valuable experience in business operations and leadership in addition to extensive work within the B Corp community. She is a B Local Chair, peer mentor to B Local groups nationally, and sits on planning committees for regional and national B Corp summits. Her expertise will help Big Path deepen our impact as a mission-driven organization.

“Adrianne has been an incredible addition to the team,” said Big Path Capital CEO and Founder Michael Whelchel. “Her positive mindset combined with a git ‘er done approach mixed with her commitment to Big Path’s mission has bolstered the team. She is helping us put plans in place to take us from good to great.”

Adrienne’s career began with the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center where she provided financial analysis, business plan assistance, strategic planning support, and digital marketing recommendations to over 700 companies. While there she also managed the state’s business disaster recovery loan program which provided more than $20M to companies in North Carolina impacted by hurricanes.

Prior to joining Big Path, Adrianne was CEO and Partner of Davis Financial Planning, successfully exiting after the firm was acquired by a values-aligned national wealth advisor. She has held operational roles in a variety of mission-driven organizations across multiple industries from financial planning to digital marketing. She has extensive experience working with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and founded the B EOS Network for B corps that use EOS.

“Having worked alongside Michael Whelchel in B Local Asheville, I know his and Big Path Capital’s commitment to impact runs deep. I am excited to support Big Path’s mission to change how capitalism is done, work with this amazing and talented team, and expand the firm’s ability to create lasting change for the greater good.”
