At Big Path Capital, making a positive impact on society and the environment is an essential element of who we are as a company and as a team. As we celebrate 15 years of working to leverage capitalism as a force for good by connecting impact investors with mission-aligned private equity funds and companies, we are proud to announce a new initiative that celebrates the contributions our team members make to create a just and sustainable economy, supports deserving non-profits, and aligns with our existing Impact Days program.
Our Ripples of Impact initiative will honor milestone anniversaries of our staff with a donation to the charity of their choice in the amount of $1,000 for each year of service. The Big Path Capital team are passionate changemakers working to create a new form of capitalism with every mission-driven company or private equity fund they support in raising capital. For many, their role at Big Path isn’t a job, it’s a calling. We can think of no better way of honoring them as they reach one, three, and five year anniversaries than with a donation in their name to an organization that has personal significance to them.
This new initiative builds on our existing Impact Days program which provides employees with two paid days per year for volunteer service. Big Path Capital has been a certified B Corporation since 2008, the first investment bank to achieve the certification, and a long-standing member of 1% for the Planet. We will continue to explore ways in which we can expand our impact as a company and support our employees as individuals.
