A Note From Erin Breslawski, Managing Director

When impact industry leaders come together, what takes place isn’t just dialogue, but direction. From June 1-3, our Private Funds Capital Advisory team will be in Charleston for the 2026 Impact Capitalism Summit (ICS), connecting investors with leading private fund managers who invest for both returns and impact. As the newest member of Big Path, I’m thrilled to attend my first ICS.

The summit’s focus on resilience signals an important shift — impact investing is no longer about proving the model, but about performing through cycles with discipline and durability.

Convenings like this build LP conviction, push GPs toward greater transparency and outcomes, and spark relationships that drive long-term capital. They also reinforce accountability, ensuring the industry is defined by measurable results, not just good intentions.

Below, read more about what’s in store for this year’s summit. If you’re an LP in the impact space looking to connect with market-rate GPs and like-minded LPs, apply to join us in Charleston. I hope to see you there!

Team Highlights

Take a Look at Where Our Team Has Been

Our team has spent April traveling across the country for a variety of events. From convening with the B Corp community to advancing impact investing in philanthropy, take a look at where we’ve been:

Our CEO, Michael Whelchel, and COO, Adrianne Gordon, just returned from Milwaukee for B Lab U.S. & Canada’s Champions Retreat. We were proud to return as a Contributing Sponsor. This year’s theme, Ripples to Waves, honored the shared belief that any action challenging the status quo — from bold leadership to behind-the-scenes influence — can scale into lasting, systems-level change toward a more just and regenerative economy.

Managing Director Erin Breslawski and Analyst Ged Noering were in Atlanta earlier this month for the Mission Investors Exchange National Conference, a hallmark event for foundations, mission-driven asset owners, and their partners shaping the future of impact investing in philanthropy.

Erin also joined Vice President Nick Dell in Dallas for the McGuireWoods Emerging Manager Conference, a premier event designed to foster meaningful connections between Emerging Managers and Limited Partners.
