Big Path Capital’s Fund Placement Analyst, Ged Noering, celebrates his first anniversary with the company this month. Ged got off to a strong start, completing all his FINRA licensing and adding considerable capability to the team, conducting research and supporting operations.

Since becoming licensed, Ged has quickly stepped into a client-facing role, actively participating in all update calls and now independently leading client communications. He has also begun engaging with prospective LPs and GPs, demonstrating a strong grasp of both investor and fund manager dynamics. Notably, Ged has been instrumental in our recent success in securing a commitment from an LP for Relevance, one of our fund manager clients, whom he is supporting.

“From day one, Ged has brought a great level of enthusiasm and can-do attitude to every assignment and task,” said J.D. Dell, Big Path Managing Director for the Fund Placement Agency. “He has been and continues to be an invaluable resource in progressing our research capabilities within the fund manager and investor ecosystem. He makes our team better each day through his efforts.”

As part of our Ripples of Impact initiative and in recognition of this important anniversary, Big Path has made a $1,000 donation to the Innocence Project, an organization selected by Ged.

This New York City-based non-profit helps to overturn wrongful convictions and fight for a more equitable justice system. “Everyone deserves the right to an equitable justice system,” said Ged. “The stories of personal triumph and compassion to help others still facing lengthy sentences are truly inspiring.” More than 250 individuals have been exonerated through the Innocence Project after wrongful convictions.

Ged’s dedication to this organization coincides with what he has seen in how Big Path operates. “One of the biggest lessons I have learned over the course of this year at Big Path is the power of persistence,” said Ged. “To create the change we want to see in the world in advancing a more sustainable economy, we need to have an insatiable desire to create change and reimagine systems.”
