Big Path Capital congratulates Managing Director & Partner J.D. Dell for his five-year anniversary. When he joined Big Path Capital, he not only supported the investment banking team and helped to expand the team’s capacity but also played an important role at the senior leadership level given his prior experience.
With his deep background in corporate law and extensive deal experience, J.D. brings a level of expertise that typically is found at larger firms. Soon after joining Big Path Capital, J.D. stepped in as an advisor to the fund placement team, tapping his personal experience in raising capital for private equity funds. In early 2023, he moved into a team leadership role as head of fund placement.

As a part of our Ripples of Impact initiative, Big Path Capital is celebrating J.D.’s anniversary with a $5,000 donation to the Southern Methodist University Human Rights Program. This program teaches students about historical and current efforts to deny the humanity of others and highlights the stories of those who stand up against oppression. The program is one of seven in the U.S. and the only one in the South. “As we are seeing played out across the globe, we cannot forget the Holocaust and the importance of ensuring human rights for all,” said J.D. “It’s important to acknowledge and value us all as human beings.”
